About Us
Leaps & Sounds School of Music will help you and your little one grow by leaps and bounds! McKinna Daugherty is a licensed Kindermusik educator with a degree in vocal music from Texas Christian University, and a Master of Divinity from the University of Chicago. She sings with the Des Moines Choral Society, and is also the senior pastor of Altoona Christian Church since 2015. She is passionate about sharing her love of singing with young families and helping every child find their voice.

Our music and movement classes provide research-based activities that stimulate your child's growing mind and body. Find out more about our classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids!
